Interview and Book Give Away with Michelle Cox and John Perrodin

July 22, 2008 Whew! I'm back from the International Christian Retail Show in Orlando and am so ready to get back to work! But one of the highlights of the yearly convention is having the opportunity to connect with old friends and catch up on what God is doing in their lives. Last week I had the joy to spending a little time with my friend and fellow author, Michelle Cox. I met Michelle years ago at the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference, where she frequently assisted author Yvo… Continue

Friends

I once read the heartfelt words, "Friends are the family we choose." I have lived in six different homes in the past seven years. Each time I arrive at a new destination, I am overwhelmed with the love God embraces me with and the great blessings He chooses to bestow upon me and my f… Continue

A new ministry, this is so cool!

As I stated before I have been working on a new ministry between myself 47, my daughter Christina 23, and my mom Barbara 72. We now have a regular podcast (online radio show) called Inspirations Generations. A generational podcast where three generations of Christian women share their thoughts about different issues and aspects of life. I had mentioned it before, but now it is complete and the first four podcasts are up. And yes, by request of someone on this forum, they are in an mp3 formatt s… Continue

Giving Birth to Your Book, Part 1: Clean It Up!

July 8, 2008 You've worked for months or years and finally, it's done. You've accomplished your dream and finally created "new life." But new life is just the beginning. Yes, your baby-your book-is created, but how do you start the delivery process and get your baby out into the world? Save a copy. And I'm not just talking about saving it on your personal hard drive-that's a given every time you write. But in addition to your hard drive, every time you make a change to the manuscript file, you… Continue

Have No Fear!

July 1, 2008 I said, "Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest--I would flee far away and stay in the desert; Selah Psalm 55:6-7 There have been times in my life when I could have written that verse. I have a feeling you know what I'm talking about. I have a feeling you're like me, and you know what it's like to want nothing more than to fly away and be at rest. And we wouldn't even need wings or an airline ticket. A moped would be fine . . . just as long as it could… Continue

Laundry Tales Audio Excerpts

Celebrating Two Years of Ministry

As our way of thanking you for your continued support we have recorded a few excerpts from our new book, Laundry Tales, for you to listen to and download.

Story Descriptions

Dream Machines by Judy Dippel

Washers and dryers are dream machines! Join Judy for the whole story and you will be awakened to the tangible evidence of earthly dreams for your children.

Squeaky Clean by Sandra Stanford

Who would believe that listening to a pesky, noisy dryer would give Sandra life lessons about her children? Listen as Sandra gives us insight on listening to the noises of our children.

Innocence Lost, Character Found by Sandy McKeown

If Eve hadn't taken that first bite, would we be doing laundry? Listen as Sandy gives us a fresh look at why we do laundry.

Soiled Linens by Tonya Holter

Potty training is something we all look forward to conquering successfully, but what if you end up with a bed-wetter? Join Tonya as she gives a glimpse of one mother's trial with the everyday laundry of a bed-wetter.

In the Nick of Time by Cassandra Woods

Put your laundry off for too long and you'll see a heaping pile that's out of control. Put yourself off too long and there may be little difference.
